"Tamsin Collison has developed the Radio Technique training at Mountview into a comprehensive, dynamic and well respected component of the Acting Programme. 'A strong committed teacher, who not only knows her subject matter well but has an infectious enthusiasm for Radio that the students thrive on'
(Edward Hicks, Head of Media - East 15 Acting School)
She directs all kinds of performance for microphone, from Shakespeare monologues to full-scale drama productions, and also coaches poetry and prose performance. She can also provide private coaching sessions in these areas, helping actors to work on speeches one-to-one – particularly with a view to preparing voice-over demo recordings or audition pieces.
In summer 2008, she was engaged to act as mentor/tutor/editor to a group of young lyricists writing 'Quest', an original musical for London youth arts group DreamArts, which was premiered at the Cochrane Theatre at the end of August.
