The Speakies 2025 – Award-Winners

I’m delighted to announce that two productions that I directed were winners at the ‘Speakies’ awards in November 2025. Best Crime & Thriller: ‘Him’, by J.D. Kirk, performed by Louise Brearley and David Tennant for Audible Originals. Best Narrator: ‘From Russia With Love by Ian Fleming, performed by Mark Gaitiss for Ian Fleming Productions. Congratulations to all the readers and thanks to the studio engineers and editors who also deserve credit for the wins. The Speakies have been created and sponsored by The Bookseller and The Stage to celebrate excellence in the fields of audio drama and audiobooks in the UK. It means a lot to have won these awards in the inaugural year.
