Songs

I have written lyrics for stand-alone songs with jazz composers Geoff Castle (‘Under Your Spell’ ,’Time to Say Goodbye’, ‘Time to Move On’), Gabrielle Ducomble (‘The Time is Now’, ‘Forest Boy’, ‘Carefree Day‘) and Scott Stroman (‘Love is a Game‘).

I have done new translations of Charles Trenet’s ‘Que Reste-t’il de Nos Amours’ (‘So What Became of Love?’), Jacques Brel’s ‘Ne Me Quitte Pas’ (‘Don’t Abandon Me‘) and Piazoli’s ‘Maria de Buenos Aires’ (‘Maria of Buenos Aires‘) and written lyrics for the instrumental accordion piece ‘Sanfona’ by Richard Galliano.

I have written several cabaret songs, both on commission and on a whim, with various different composers.
